Dear colleagues,

Let me express my deep gratitude for the hospitality extended by your organizations to Ukrainian restorers! They were really impressed and inspired by the professional solidarity and openness.

Yesterday we had a zoom-meeting with 40 Ukrainian restorers from different cities in Ukraine. Those who were in Paris made presentations for colleagues and talked about their experiences and impressions.

We have active feedback and see the desire of Ukrainian restorers and experts to have fellowships in French specialized institutions. Ukrainian professionals need knowledge and skills in photography, textiles, paper, furniture, porcelain, and glass restoration. They would like to learn new principles of restoration, conservation, and preservation of objects. The researchers want to gain experience with the techniques and technologies used by the C2RMF.

I would like to ask if your organizations are ready to accept Ukrainians for internships. If you potentially have such a desire and opportunity, I would suggest discussing organizational details. How many people, in what specialization, when, for how long, and under what conditions?

The Ukrainian institute, which I represent in France, would be interested in developing the program for restorers and experts. We would organize the open call, and collect all applications (CV, motivation letters, portfolio - if necessary). Also, we could try to look for some additional resources for developing this initiative.

If your organization potentially intends to join the internship of Ukrainian restorers, please let me know.

In any case, we are very grateful that you received Ukrainian colleagues and showed them the prospects of professional development, modern methods, and working conditions.
